  Great place for hot tea. There are many delicious pastries to choose from. Friendly staff, and a great place to meet with friends and family.

  Normally, I love this place. Tonight was a different story. The young lady at the counter was less than helpful. I asked if either soup was made with chicken stock and she just looked at me and replied, "I don't know." I had to ask her to please ask the kitchen because of dietary needs. I then ordered the grilled pimento cheese sandwich without bacon. She stated she was unable to change any of the sandwiches. I responded, "you can't leave the bacon off a sandwich?" She shook her head no. I then asked if they were pre-made and she responded, "yes." After dinner, I asked one of the women in the kitchen if the sandwiches were pre-made and she responded, "No, we make them to order." The Table's food is great, but they need to find a new person to work the counter; one who actually cares about service would be nice.
